These component and module provides facility to joomla admin to create social networking site easily.

Linksutra Component/Module ( first unzip the downloaded file and install component/module separately.)
HELP: 21/10/2009
follow these steps to get linksutra component/module working.
1) download and install linksutra component and module
2) edit/create menu items (i prefer top menu) to linksutra components by “change menu item type” to (profile/demands/offers/scrapbook/friends)
3) publish linksutra module either to left or right position and with registered access.

Hi, I am having problems with Album. I can create albums, but when I try to upload a photo, it reports error, with directory: /tmp/phpz2idMZ media/album/1. This directory does not exist on system
Everything else work smooth as silk

I don’t get it, are other users able to see each others profile and scraps?
how? From what i see, you can only view your own profile

check the demo at http://www.demo.linksutra.com or http://www.linksutra.com
users can view each others profile, can send scraps, friends, demands,offers and album modules are there..
you need to install linksutra module and component both.. make linksutra module access for registered users . put it in left or right position and you will get social networking site ready.

Having trouble uploading avatars and photos. Is there a destinations folder I have to create somewhere?

I am also getting the error messages when uploading photos. It is:

Additionally, I joined the Linksutra site and I checked out the album ap and it does not look like that on my website?
Nor am I able to upload profile pics.
I have uploaded the Component and then also the module. Is there a plugin I have missed some place?

Hi,
i will check album issue..am improving album in linksutra component and trying to implement as given at linksutra.com(using uploadify)
